Start a Course

Learn how to start a course on AppSecEngineer, from logging in and reviewing details to tracking progress and resuming where you left off.

Follow these steps to start a course:
  1. Log in to the User Portal:

    • Access your learning platform and sign in using your credentials.
  2. Access the Courses Section:

    • Navigate to Courses in the sidebar menu to view your available courses.
  3. Select a Course:

    • Browse through the course catalog or use the search bar to locate the course you want to start.
  4. Review Course Information:

    • Before starting, review the course details, including:
      • Course Description: Understand the objectives of the course.
      • Skills Covered: Identify the skills you will gain.
      • Modules and Labs: Preview the structure and content.
      • Prerequisites: Ensure you meet the required knowledge level.
  5. Start the Course:

    • Click the Start button to begin.
    • Once the course starts, you can view the course content on the side navigation panel, including lessons, modules, and labs.

  6. Navigate Through the Course:

    • Use the side navigation panel to move between lessons, modules, and labs.
    • Complete each section in the recommended order to maximize learning.
  7. Track Progress:

    • Monitor your progress using the progress bar or percentage indicator displayed within the course.
  8. Save and Resume:

    • If you need to pause, your progress will be saved automatically.
    • Resume the course from where you left off by returning to the course page.
